northern and southern Nevada Governor’s Industry
Appreciation Luncheons, coordinates and oversees the annual
Governor’s Economic Development Conference.
Continue to highlight and demonstrate Nevada’s appreciation
of new and expanded businesses.
Continue to improve the core educational program and increase
attendance at the annual Economic Development Conference.

The Governor hosts two Industry Appreciation
Luncheons each year – one in southern Nevada in the spring
and one in northern Nevada in the fall. More than 5,000 people
attended these luncheons during the past biennium.
The Governor’s Economic Development conferences recognized
and included relevant topics in areas such as the new economy,
workforce development, technology and global issues. More than
1,000 people attended the conferences.
