Copper Kiln Pottery
Based in Minden, Nevada, Sharon Randall creates both functional and artwork from porcelain or stoneware high firing them to 2350 degrees F. in a gas reduction kiln. Her work evolves in synergy with her life experiences reflected by her incorporation of images from found objects, animals, flora and fauna which have touched her life. She utilizes the wheel as well as hand-building techniques and develops her own glazes which are lead and barium free. Her functional ware is dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe.
