"Made in Nevada" Applications Sought
The Nevada Commission on Economic Development (NCED) is compiling information for its "Made in Nevada" program. The program is for businesses headquartered in Nevada that manufacture or assemble a minimum of 50 percent of their product or products in the state.
The goal of the "Made in Nevada" program is to promote businesses within the state, while encouraging these same companies to utilize each others services. One example of promotion offered to Nevada businesses is that the information gathered will be placed, free of charge, on a new state economic development web site now in the final stages of development.
To receive an application write: Made in Nevada Program, c/o Commission on Economic Development, 555 E. Washington Ave., Suite 5400, Las Vegas, NV, 89101. Or to receive information by phone, please call (702) 486-2710.
The Made in Nevada Program is a partnership of the NCED and the Manufacturing Assistance Partnership (MAP) of the University and Community College System of Nevada.
