Membership Criteria/Benefits

The Made in Nevada program supports the "cottage industries" in the Silver State in developing an increased volume of business inside and outside Nevada and, expands Nevadans' knowledge about the variety of products produced and manufactured in Nevada through a variety of marketing programs.

In addition, the Made in Nevada program provides technical assistance regarding the fiscal, logistical and value analysis aspects of growing a business. This is accomplished via Made in Nevada's partners including the Management Assistance Program and the Nevada Small Business Development Centers.

Member Benefits

One benefit is a Made in Nevada member listing on the web site at www.MadeinNV.com. In addition to a product description, each member's logo or artwork (supplied in the proper format) will be displayed and a hot link will be provided to the member's web site. The listing will also be part of the Made in Nevada database for consumers looking to purchase Made in Nevada products.

Made in Nevada tags or adhesive labels associated with the Made in Nevada marketing program will be provided at no cost to Made in Nevada members. The logo appearing on the tags/labels will be used consistently in all marketing activities of the program, and is available to members in a camera-ready format upon request. The Made in Nevada logo is a registered trademark of the Nevada Commission on Economic Development.

Members will be provided with information to help promote their Made in Nevada products, with select items posted on the web site, for events such as trade shows, farmers' markets, craft fairs, workshops and seminars.

Members will be provided access to experts in areas related to growing your business. Some examples of areas of potential assistance and advice include financing, logistics and foreign exporting.
