Nevada has a rich history of entrepreneurs�from the Comstock barons to the world's aviation pioneers�developing new ideas and technology in the Silver State.

Today, Nevada-based businesses produce a wide range of high quality products for domestic and international markets.  In 2006, Nevada ranked second in U.S. export growth, and it consistently ranks in the top 5 nationwide.

Made in Nevada is a non-tax supported association of business, agriculture and government entities working together to develop awareness and promote the purchase of products manufactured and crafted in Nevada.  Buying Nevada-made products makes good business sense when you are looking for quality products delivered just-in-time at just-the-right price.

It also makes good economic sense�if just the 2.5 million people in Nevada spent $10 with Nevada-based companies this year, instead of an out-of-state company, that would infuse $25 million into the State's economy.  

Continuing with that concept, buying locally helps retain and create new jobs.  According to the Small Business Administration, existing businesses are responsible for the majority of job growth in the nation.
