The Nevada SBIR initiative is the being taken to achieve the Nevada
goal of having seamless support available to entering, emerging
and growing advanced technology enterprises. This seamless suport
includes the SBIR mechanism, but extends from patent advice through
R&D support and education supplied to technologists by the University
System, to private support such as venture and mezzanine capital.
It couples the power of business, academia and government.
SBIR Outreach is possible through a partnership that includes the University and Community College System of Nevada, the State of Nevada’s Commission on Economic Development and the Nevada Small Business Development Centers.
